Aggregate Information: information that has been combined with that of other users and analyzed or evaluated as a whole, such that no specific individual may be reasonably identified.
Anonymized Information: information that has been stripped of your Registration Information (e.g., your name and contact information) and other identifying data such that you cannot reasonably be identified as an individual.
Personal Information: information that can be used to identify you, either alone or in combination with other information.
Registration Information: information you provide about yourself when registering for our Services (e.g. name, email, address, user ID and password).
User Content: all information, data, text, software, music, audio, photographs, graphics, video, messages, or other materials generated by users of the Services and transmitted, whether publicly or privately, to or through White Shark.
Web Behavior Information: information on how you use the White Shark app and website (e.g. browser type, mobile device information, domains, page views) including information collected through log files, cookies, web beacons and similar technologies.
2. What Types of Information Do We Collect?
Information You Provide Directly to Us.
Registration Information. When you register an account with us or purchase our Services, we collect Personal Information, such as your name and contact information such as your email and phone number, and ask you to create a username and password.
User Content. Some of our Services may allow you to create and post or upload User Content.
Social Media Features and Widgets. Our app and website may include social media features, such as the Facebook Like or Share button and widgets that may allow you to share information about your use of the Services on third-party social media sites. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our website, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. They may also allow third-party social media services to provide us information about you, including your name, email address, and other contact information. The data we receive is dependent upon your privacy settings with the social network. These features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy statement of the company providing it. You should always review, and if necessary, adjust your privacy settings on third-party websites and services before linking or connecting them to the Service.
Broker Login and Trading Information
You may choose to store your login information for third-party brokerage sites locally on your device. White Shark does not collect or store this information. White Shark may receive certain information about trades you have requested from third-party brokerage sites accessed using the Services.
White Shark also gathers non-personal information from users. Non-personal information is information that usually cannot by itself be used to identify a particular person or entity, and may include: Internet Protocol (IP) address, unique device identifiers, anonymous IDs for advertising, operating system, mobile network information, browser type, existing applications, and browsing activity.
3. How Do We Use Information?
We analyze non-personal information to help us determine how users access the Services and who our users are. We may use non-personal information to make our Services more interesting and useful to you; for analyzing and improving the value of the material available through our Services; to increase the effectiveness of the products we will offer to you in the future; and to help our partners and service providers, or our website design teams to create, serve, and track promotions our customers might like.
4. How Do We Share Information?
- When you connect with a third-party brokerage service through the Services and request to engage in a trading transaction, we may share trade data with the brokerage service.
- We may disclose to our suppliers and contractors who process your Personal Information to provide services to us or you including, without limitation, market research; fraud protection; data analysis; email management; and customer service. In some instances, these contractors may have access to Personal Information, but they are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality of the information and to use it only for purposes of carrying out the business of White Shark.

We may share non-personal information, such as Aggregate Information and Anonymized Information, with third parties, including but not limited to advisors, advertisers, analytics providers, and investors, for the purpose of conducting our business. White Shark may use third party services such as Google Analytics to track aggregated user o visitor data, which does not include any Personal Information. We reserve the right to disclose to third parties non-personal information collected for any lawful purpose.
5. Your Choices
If your Registration Information changes, you may access, correct or update most of it from your Account Settings page. You may also modify and delete certain of the information you have provided to us.
By registering for an account, you are agreeing that we may send you promotional emails about our Services. You can opt-out of receiving certain messages or notifications from us by visiting your Account page (go to Log in, Settings, Notifications) or by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also click the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of promotional email communications. Please note that you may not opt-out of receiving non-promotional messages regarding your account, such as technical notices, or Service-related emails.
White Shark cares about the security and confidentiality of the information you provide to us. We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure of information you submit to us that is under our control. However, no website, application or online service is completely secure or "hacker proof"; we cannot guarantee and we do not warrant that loss, misuse, or alteration of data will not occur, and we are not responsible for the theft, destruction, or inadvertent disclosure of your Personal Information. You are also responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized disclosure or misuse.
We do not knowingly collect or store Personal Information from anyone under the age of 13 unless or except as permitted by law. ANY PERSON WHO USES ANY OF THE SERVICES REPRESENTS TO US THAT HE OR SHE IS 13 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. If we are made aware that we have received Personal Information from someone under 13, we will use reasonable efforts to remove that information from our records.
8. Cookies and Do Not Track
If you do not wish to have this information used for the purpose of serving you targeted ads, you may be able to opt-out of many advertising networks by visiting the TRUSTe Advertising Choices or National Advertising Initiative websites. Please note this does not mean that you have opted-out of being served advertising. You may continue to receive generic ads.
At this time, we do not track our users' Personal Information over time and across third-party websites. We therefore do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
